Versus You

Despite being in another band, Eric Rosenfeld writes songs for what will become Versus You’s debut album “Marathon”.
Eric’s band calls it quits and nothing stands in the way in the way for his new, as yet untitled project. After a couple of drinks, Eric convinces Giordano Bruno, who has being a friend for years, to join his new band on the bass guitar. After several months of looking for a drummer, Pit Romersa joins the band by then dubbed “Versus You”.
Versus You’s debut album, “Maraton”, is released on Fond of Life Records and their first official video for “Crush” single is shot with Andy Agosta. After a bunch of shows, Pit quits the band for time to concentrate fully on another project and Mike Lahier joins Versus You on the drums.
The band tours through Europe and plays almost 80 shows in one year. Giordano, Eric and Mike also hit the studio to record their second album.
The second album, entitled ”This is the Sinking”, is released on Winged Skull Records. The second video, this time for “Loyalty”, is shot by Andy Agosta. Versus You welcomes a second guitar player named Jimmy Leen, a friend and former bandmate of Eric’s. After a weekend with No Use for a Name and shows with The Flatliners, Mike quits the band due to personal reasons. The new drummer’s name is Aloyse Weyler and in late June 2008 Versus shares the stage with NOFX and White Flag.
